This research project is to construct Mandiri Banking Pressure Index based on best practice, robust empirical methodology, and adjusted with Bank Mandiri\u2019 needs and preferences. Mandiri Banking Pressure Index will be used as one of the surveillance and prediction tools of the banking sector condition in Indonesia. Moreover, the index is expected to be one of main reference for the decision makers, banking sector practitioners, academics, researchers, and public the needs information on the condition of banking sector in Indonesia.\u00a0 BPI will significantly improve the ability of the banking system in detecting and dealing with banking crisis. By using BPI, Bank Mandiri will be able to construct the strategies to improve the economies\u2019 resilience in facing the impacts of the crisis.<\/p>\n
