This workshop discussed some important issues about people's economy. In order to support the economic empowerment of the people, we need leaders who are able to drive the local development. The leaders should have a sense of responsibility, optimism, integrity, adaptive to changes, persistent determination, dedication, and be willing to take risks. In addition, leaders are expected to have a vision that put the interests of the public above personal or group interests.

Leaders with these characteristics are expected to be able to shape the course of administration/organization through their visions and missions, which will affect the policy implemented. In addition, to ensure that the visions and missions can be achieved, the leaders will also need the support from the community.

This workshop is expected to produce qualified leaders who are capable of empowering people's economy which is more self-reliant and developing local economy through strategic economic development. This workshop is also expected to motivate the people, especially the young generation, in order to improve the spirit of leadership in promoting the interest of the society and set examples or become the role models for the future generations.
